9th International Conference "DAYS OF CORPORATE SECURITY 2018" 14 and 15 March 2018 Crystal Palace, Ljubljana

International conference Days of Corporative Security with the central theme "The Interdisciplinary Approach to the Effectiveness of Risk Management in Business Organizations"representing thematic scientific and professional meeting of all those who are faced with problems of security risks in the modern security environment. Within days of corporate security will be held the third international conference entitled "Information Security - Today and Tomorrow". This conference represents a central scientific and professional event in the region the field of corporate security. As part of the opening ceremony, the "Grand Slovenian Security Award" for the year 2018 will be awarded.

Dr. Brane Bertoncelj, Slovenian Corporate Security Association

He graduated from the Faculty of Sociology, Political Science and Journalism, Department of Defense Studies, and continued his master's degree at the Faculty of Philosophy in Psychology and PhD at the Faculty of Social Sciences in the field of defense.

He has more than 45 years of working experience, especially in the area of ​​cash operations, security and defense. For many years he has been acting as the director of cash operations of the Bank of Slovenia. Its invaluable achievement is, of course, the coordination of the Bank of Slovenia's project regarding the provision of conditions for cash operations at the introduction of the euro in the Republic of Slovenia. In addition, it is necessary to highlight the reform of Slovenia's payment systems in the area of ​​monetary transactions and in many projects related to security issues and the preparation of the concept of national security of Slovenia.

He is very active and respected in the international environment as he is a veteran of various expert associations such as the Eurosystem's Banknote Committee (BANCO) and the Central Bank Counterfeit Deterrence Group (CBCDG). He is still active as an external expert in training at the Bank of Slovenia and the Slovenian Banking Association.

In 2014 he received the prestigious "Slovenian Corporate Security Award" award in the category "Corporate Security Manager of the Year". In the recent period, a member of the Slovenian Corporate Security Association, who through his rich experience and knowledge, directs and mentors younger generations of corporate security managers.

Mr. Andrej PODVRŠIČ - Chief Security Officer, Chemours Company

He is an expert in corporate security management, currently employed as Corporate Security Director at Chemours Company, former director of corporate security at DuPont de Nemours International Sarl for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

In 1995, he graduated from the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Social Sciences, Department of Defense and International Affairs. He is a graduate of the FBI and the owner of many international educational degrees and awards - the FBI NAA 1994, Human Resources Management, Stress Management, Criminal Justice, Working Place Violence, Crisis Management, Public Affairs, Communication, Threat Management; Six Sigma certified; ISMA Executive Leadership, ISMA Advanced Leadership Program; Kellogg School of Management - ISMA Senior Executive Leadership Program; IMD- Executive Leadership Program.

In the past, Andrej Podvršič was, among other things, the Consul General of the Republic of Slovenia, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, New York, USA (2000-2003), Director General of the Slovenian Police, Ministry of the Interior (1999-2000) and Senior Advisor to the Prime Minister, Janez Drnovšek (1998-1999).

He is a member of a number of international organizations such as the Slovenian Association for Corporate Security, the European Institute of Corporate Security Management, the International Police Association (IPA), the FBI National Academy Associates, the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) and ISMA Managers Association).

G. Faiz DJELLOULI, Head of CITI Cybersecurity – (CISO), ENGIE

Faïz Djellouli is Head of Industrial Cyber Security Competency Center at ENGIE Group (Global Business Consulting / CITI), as well as CISO of multiple industrial Business Units of the Group. He leads a team of about 40 cyber security experts / engineers who work daily for the ENGIE Group's critical facilities by providing support, expertise and solutions through a holistic approach.

He started his career as an industrial automation and mechanics engineer for about 5 years, before switching to IT and cybersecurity for 8 more years, ending notably as CISO of Engie's Energy Management and Trading Business Unit. Through his industrial cybersecurity responsibilities since 2015, he has closed the bridge between his two past experiences. His industrial background has proved a key success factor to the adaptation of traditional IT security programs to critical industrial control systems, as well as the establishment of a collaborative community between security departments and engineering, automation and operations teams.

Mr. Aleksandar RAJČEVIĆ - Risk & Compliance Manager South East Europe - IKEA South East Europe

Aleksandar Rajčević, prof.spec.crim, is employed as the head of Risk & Compliance SEE at IKEA Croatia d.o.o. since 2008 and has been in charge of the field of corporate security in the organizational unit of the company in South East Europe (Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Romania and Ukraine). The main fields of activity are the areas of private protection, occupational safety, fire protection, insurance of persons and property, control of compliance with internal rules and procedures, control and verification of product compliance with local legislation, security and data security. At the same time, as the head of the management team in crisis situations in charge of crisis management in all five countries.

He holds a number of certificates of business that he has attended at home and abroad (areas of organization, human resources management, risk management and management).

Mr. Larry QUINN, P.C. MSc. – President of the Security Institut of Ireland, Chairman of the SII Board of Director

Larry Quinn is the President of the Security Institute and a Peace Commissioner within the Irish judicial system. He has 40 years’ experience within the military, police and private security sectors and advises on academic matters at corporate and regulatory levels in Ireland, US and Europe. He is a Fellow of the Security Institute. His qualifications include a Master of Science in Security and Risk Management, Higher Diploma in Security Management and a Diploma in Education and Training.

As the Institute’s Director of Academic Research he is responsible for all aspects of research, programme development, delivery, assessment and validation. He also works with the state accreditation body as an external authenticator. He was previously chairman of the working group that drafted the EU Vocational Training Manual for Basic Guarding and a team member that drafted the EU Manual for Procurement of Guarding Security Services. He is co-author of the Security Institute’s Training Manuals. Larry was a former social dialogue representative in the EU and CoESS Quality and Training Chairman. He was the Irish Director of the KOMSI Project. Larry has recently been appointed as Chairman of the SII Board of Governors for Academic Standards.

Mr. Luigi REBUFFI, Secretary General, European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO)

Founder of ECSO, European Cyber Security Organisation, created to support the PPP on cybersecurity with the European Commission. After having been the initial Chairman of the Board now he is concentrating on activity in the management of the Aasociation as Secretary General.

Previously, he has been initiator and founder of EOS (cooperative company gathering the most important European private security stakeholders to develop and implement European security solutions and services). Close link at high and operational level in EU Institutions and National Administrations as well as national, European and international organisations dealing with security issues.

Coordination of European activities for the business development of EOS Members in the different security domains (Border Control, Civil Protection / Crisis Management, Fight Terrorism and Crime, Protection of Critical Infrastructures, Cybersecurity, Urban Security). Development of EU strategies, policies and business opportunities leveraging upon technical innovation and economic growth. Leader of a multi-cultural team of 10 people (EOS Team). He has been for 6 years the President of the Steering Board of the French ANR (Agence Nationale de la Recherche) for security research and member of the Security Advisory Group of the E.C. for Security Research.

Dr. Wayne P. BERGERON, Assistant Professor - Criminal Justice, Security and Emergency Management, University of North Alabama, USA

He has taught and presented at both the under-graduate and post-graduate level at numerous military and civilian institutions both within the United States and foreign countries on topics ranging from – counter-terrorism, emergency consequence management, international crime, failed and failing states, interagency coordination, tactical and organizational leadership, civil-military relations, military support to sustainable development and humanitarian assistance, and public and community relations. MSc. Marko POTOKAR, Security Manager – Lek d.d.

He began his activities in the field of information and personal data protection in 2004. In recent years he has acted as a state supervisor for the protection of personal data with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia. He is a habilitated lecturer in the field of security sciences at the Faculty of Security Sciences of the University of Maribor, and with the decision of the Expert Council of the Republic of Slovenia for Vocational and Technical Education, he is awarded the title of a lecturer of a college. He is the author of several contributions in the field of security and information technology and operational research. He continues his doctoral studies in the field of information security at the Faculty of Security Sciences, University of Maribor. His research work extends to the field of study of all segments of information security, with an emphasis on the impact of the use of related information technologies on security and privacy.

He was the recipient of the Slovenian Grand Security Award in the category of Corporate Security Manager of the year 2017.

Mrs. Ksenija BUTENKO ČERNE, Head Legal and member of Board of Management of Lek d.d.

After graduating from the Faculty of Law at the University of Ljubljana in April 1987, Ksenija Butenko Černe, LL.B. took a job with the Gradis Law Offices in May 1987. In 1991 she was hired by the Slikoplesk company as the Director of the Legal and Human Resources division. After passing the State Bar Exam in October 1993, she began working at Lek d.d. at the beginning of 1994. Since then she has been working in the legal field, mainly concentrating on international business, status and regulatory issues, as well as industrial property law.

Since 2001 she has been the Executive Director of the Legal department. After Lek became a member of the Novartis/Sandoz business group and a legal function was formed within Sandoz, she took on the responsibility for global legal support in the region of Central and Eastern Europe and at the beginning of 2005 was also appointed as Sandoz’s regional Head Legal for the Central and Eastern Europe.

On July 6, 2005 the Supervisory Board appointed her to the position of Member of the Board of Management of Lek d.d. She took over the responsibility for managing and ensuring the legal harmonization of the operations of the company with relevant local and EU legislation and for the operations of the company as a good corporate citizen, a member of the Novartis/Sandoz group.

Effective August 2, 2017, Ksenija Butenko Černe was reappointed Head Legal and a Member of the Board of Management of Lek d.d.

MSc. Andrej TOMŠIČ, Deputy Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia

After finishing high school, he enrolled at the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana, where he graduated in 2001 from the defense of the thesis Information Roads - the infrastructure of digital economy, strategies and approaches. In 2002, he joined the Ministry of Information Society where he worked as a member of the eEUROPE + 2003 Statistical Working Group, mainly in the field of information society metrics, and was a member of the following DG INFSO bodies at the European Commission: eEUROPE +2003 Statistical Working Group, eAccessibility Expert Group, ENISA National Liaison Officer, eEUROPE 2005 / i2010 and Safer Internet plus Management Committee.

In 2006 he received his master's degree in Information Management at the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana. He has been working with the Information Commissioner since May 2006 and is mainly concerned with the legal, technological and socio-economic challenges of privacy in the information society. The Information Commissioner is represented in the International Working Group IWGDPT and Article 29 Working Party Technology Subgroup. Has passed the course and exam for the leading auditor for the information security standard ISO / IEC 27001: 2005.

Gorazd Božič is the head of the National Computer Emergency Response Team (SI-CERT, National Response Center for Network Incident. The SI-CERT response center within the Arnes public institute has been investigating invasions in computers, infections with computer viruses since 1995, and helping users in a variety of other abuses on the Internet, including through the awareness program "varninainternetu.si". Between 2000 and 2008 Gorazd Božič was president of the European Group of Response Centers TF-CSIRT and represented Slovenia in the Management Board of the European Network and Information Security Agency ENISA.

Dr. Dušan Gabrijelčič is a researcher at the Laboratory for Open Systems and Networks at Jozef Stefan Institute. His main research areas are information security, networking and multimedia applications. He has been working in EU Institutions/Bodies for the past 20 years, focusing on implementation of policies in different areas. He has been a researcher and co-author of papers published in peer-reviewed international journals or presented at international scientific conferences, covering several topics (Energy, Nuclear Energy, Natural Language Processing and Bio-Informatics). He has an extensive knowledge of energy cybersecurity in Europe. He is chairman and co-chairman of Task Forces focusing on cybersecurity for Energy from a Regulatory perspective and member of the Expert Group on Cybersecurity within the Smart Grid Task Force of the European Commission.
