APPRAISE (Facilitating Public & Private Security Operators to Mitigate Terrorism Scenarios Against Soft Targets) is an international project involving 28 partners from all over Europe, with three Slovenian partners - the Ministry of the Interior - Police, BTC and the Institute for Corporate Security studies.

The project will organize important pilot cases that will represent different forms of possible types of public event spaces. These will be the next (1) interstate example of the organization of a major cycling competition in the Basque Country between France and Spain; (2) ATP Tennis Tournament in Turin, Italy; (3) the BTC-City shopping and entertainment complex in Ljubljana and (4) the international fair infrastructure in Gdańsk, Poland.
