At the June meeting of the Slovenian Corporate Security Association, we hosted Mr. Raya Mislocka Jr., one of the world's leading corporate security manager (CSOs). This colleague has several years of experience in the offices of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). In particular, it is necessary to point out that he was a member of the special commission (appointed by the US Congress), who prepared a security assessment of all embassies in risky countries after a tragic attack in Benghazi. Over the past twenty years, it has been operating in the most responsible positions within corporate security, from DuPont to the position of director at Pamir Consalting LLC.

Moderators of the event, dr. Denis Čaleta and Mr. Andrej Podvršič, touched on open issues in the field of development of corporate security in business organizational environments through a guided conversation with the guest. The global security environment, due to the dynamics of constant changes and new risks, forces us to constantly adapt our strategies for effective security risk management. The information society presents important risks in front of us, where it is necessary to place all the factors for ensuring security in the organizations on the same denominator. Corporate security must also increasingly ensure information security within its processes. Employees in organizations remain one of the important factors requiring effective management, among others, in the direction of managing security risks. Mr. Mislock emphasized the importance that strategic leadership in the company understands the role of corporate security as an effective risk management tool and thus ensures the continuity of the organization's operations. Later the members of the association exchanged views, good practices and experiences in an active discussion with the guest.

In conclusion, Dr. Denis Čalet thanked the guest for his visit and presented him with a plaque of the Slovenian Corporate Security Association, which symbolizes the foundation and mission of the association with the engraved saying "We create bonds that enrich and thus build the way to success!" And "Ab uno dice omnes" .

The next meeting of the association is planned in September, where the Firefighter Association of Slovenia will host us.
