At the invitation of the organizers, Dr. Denis Čaleta attended on international conference "Critical Infrastructure", which was held on Friday, 23.09.2016 in Zagreb. The international conference was organized within the framework of a wider event "Croatian days of security and protection 2016". Organizers of the conference were Croatian Forum for Urban Security and newspaper Zaštita. The conference was organized under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Croatia, Mrs. Kolinda Grabar Kitarović and the city of Zagreb. The purpose of the conference was raising awareness of the importance of critical infrastructure for the smooth functioning of the wider community and the importance of international cooperation.

At the introductory part of the conference Dr. Denis Čaleta delivered a lecture entitled "Development of critical infrastructure in the Republic of Slovenia", where transferred to participants the Slovenian experience in this area. Next lectures were conducted by Ms. Maja Čavlović, advisor for the President of the Croatian Defence and National Security and the EU Representative, Dr. Alessandro Lazari.
