Dr. Denis Čaleta participated in the important event NATO Advance Research Workshop, which took place on 11 and 12 February 2025 in Podgorica, Montenegro. The theme of the NATO event was "Building Resillience in a Dynamic Critical Infrastructure Landscape".

At the event, he moderated a very important panel entitled "Energy Security and Infrastructure in the EU and Western Balkans", where, among other things, critical energy infrastructure was discussed as a tool for ensuring geostrategic interests. Through the panel, NATO representatives presented the security agenda related to climate change. The focus was also on the field of renewable sources and the security challenges associated with this decentralized energy system. The challenges related to the adaptation of critical entities to the risks brought by climate change were presented. In the last part of the panel, Dr. Čaleta led a discussion within the framework of a key round table entitled "Cross-Sectoral Challenges in CIP".
