Representatives of the Institute for Corporate Security Studies and the Slovenian Association of Corporate Security attended the 10th international professional conference "Corporate Security Days 2024", organized by the Serbian Association of Corporate Security Managers (SAMKB) and the Southeast Europe Association of Corporate Security Managers (SEESCA) ). The event took place on November 29 and 30, 2024 in Vrdnik, near Novi Sad.

It is a professional meeting of corporate security managers, which brings together international participants from the public and private sectors in the Republic of Serbia and neighboring countries. The main goal of this meeting, which had the working title "The future has begun", was the exchange of experience and the presentation of examples of good practices in the country and the region in the field of new technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) as support for corporate security.

The representatives of the Institute for Corporate Security Studies also took an active part in the conference, and with their presentations, they significantly enriched the content of the prepared part of the conference. In an excellent presentation entitled "Artificial intelligence for a secure digital future: contributions of the CEDAR project", Mr. Matic Čaleta presented a European project in which ICS Ljubljana plays an important role.

Dr. Denis Čaleta, as the president of the Slovenian Association of Corporate Security, participated in the round table entitled "Current challenges of the critical infrastructure sector in the world of new technologies", where he presented the Slovenian way of implementing the new CER and NIS 2 directives and the problems and pitfalls they hide. At the same time, two new European projects, ENDURANCE and ARMADILLO, were highlighted at the event through various round tables and discussions.
