Another chapter of the traditional international conference "Days of Corporate Security " has been successfully concluded. Due to the situation, the organization of the conference was a demanding challenge this year as well, which we carried out in an excellent way together with all the participants and supporters of the conference. The organization of the event took place in a combined form, with a ceremony at the award ceremony of the prestigious "Slovenian Grand Security Awards", which were awarded live and the content of the international conference, which this time took place online.

Nevertheless, we had the opportunity to see a huge number of high-profile lectures and four round tables, with participants representing strategic management and the top professional experts. The online format made it possible for the conference to be followed in a wider international space, as this year the event was attended by audiences and lecturers from as many as 19 countries. Through various channels and forms, the conference sponsors presented the latest products in technological and process work, which in the future will be able to help effectively manage corporate security risks with special emphasis on cyber security and ensuring the resilience of our organizations.

A whole series of professional events through the conference program once again enabled the weaving of new professional acquaintances, the exchange of new experiences and, of course, the professional affirmation of individual experts and providers of security solutions. This year's red thread was related to cyber security, resilience of organizations, risk management, control of key personnel, protection of critical infrastructure, implementation of the GDPR and many current topics.

The ever-stronger media and professional response is certainly encouraged by the "Slovenian Grand Security Award", which the Institute for Corporate Security Studies awards every year to the best in its categories. President of the organizing committee of the conference dr. Denis Čaleta in his opening address, emphasized that "in the case of the winners, they are beacons of excellence, which we will all try to follow."

Once again, we truly thank all of you who were part of this great event and say goodbye at the next International Conference on Corporate Security 2022. This time in the hope that we will carry out the entire event live and return to the normal rails of mutual meetings and communication. Until then, stay on the safe side of the world also with the help of the experience we gained together at the just concluded event.
