The Critical Infrastructure Act was adopted

05. January 2018

In December 2017, the new Critical Infrastructure Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia No. 75/2017) was adopted in the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia, which provides the basic basis for a more detailed and systematic regulation of the protection of critical infrastructure in the Republic of Slovenia. In any case, the Government of the Republic of Slovenia and the competent authorities are waiting for the difficult preparation of implementing regulations, which will define in detail the key factors in the field of critical infrastructure protection. We hope that the legislator will consult in the preparation of appropriate solutions and take into account the professional starting points, which will be presented within the framework of the Slovenian Association for Corporate Security, which brings together most of the important critical infrastructure managers in the Republic of Slovenia. The experience of the Institute for Corporate Security Studies, which was acquired through various research and application projects, will also be important in the development of final solutions.
