Successfully conducted workshop within the framework of the CEDAR EU project
On Friday, 26 July 2024, the national workshop of the EU CEDAR project took place at Celje General Hospital. The workshop was attended by the Slovenian partners of the international project, coming from the Celje General Hospital, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the Police, the technology company SNEP and the Institute for Corporate Security Studies.
The main purpose of the workshop was to examine the possibility of providing appropriate data sources and to design scenarios through which the technological solutions developed in the project will be tested. The proper integration of publicly available data sources and the creation of appropriate public databases play a very important role in the identification of indicators for potential corruption risks.
The Slovenian part of the international project focuses on the use of data and modern technologies to increase transparency in the management of public funds and to prevent corruption risks in the health sector, which is highly exposed in Slovenia.
