Successfully Completed NATO Advanced Research Workshop in Belgrade
We inform you that the Institute of Corporate Security Studies - ICS Ljubljana together with the University EDUCONS, Serbia successfully completed the NATO Advanced Research Workshop (ARW) entitled "Managing Terrorism Threats to Critical Infrastructures - Challenges for South Eastern Europe" wich was held from 12 - 15 May in Belgrade.
With their brief speech NATO ARW was opened by dr. Milan Janković (President of the Chamber of Commerce of Belgrade), ddr. Teodora Ivanuša (member of ISEG which is part of the NATO SPS - Science for Peace and Security), dr. Denis Čaleta (Director of ICS, Ljubljana), dr. Vesela Radović and Slobodan Rakić (representative of the University EDUCONS).
The conference was attended by over 50 invited experts that have come from the entire region of SE Europe. The conference was divided into three working days. Each day offered a range of views on the managing terrorism threats regarding to Critical Infrastructures, which we have dealt through a variety of substantive panels.
On the third day NATO ARW concluded with the creation of different opinions and views in a joint report which will be published subsequently on the web pages of the Institute of Corporate Security Studies www.ics-institut.com.
