The Institute for Corporate Security Studies, in cooperation with the Slovenian Association of Corporate Security, annually awards prizes for achievements in the field of corporate security. The official award ceremony took place on May 26, 2021 in Ljubljana as part of the Days of Corporate Security 2021 event.

With their speeches, the event was given special weight by Mr. Alojz Kovšca, President of the National Council of the Republic of Slovenia, Mr. Aleš Mihelič, State Secretary of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Mr. Uroš Lampret, State Secretary of the Ministry of Defense, Mr. Stanislav Vrečar, Deputy Director General of the Police and Mr. Aleksander Mervar, director of ELES. Dr. On behalf of the organizing committee, Denis Čaleta thanked all those who, during these difficult moments, were committed to the continuous operation of our organizations and society.

At the round table with the leading managers of important Slovenian organizations, key aspects on the topic "Introduction of new digital solutions and strategic challenges of ensuring the security and continuous operation of organizations" were opened. Mr. Aleksander Mervar, director of ELES d.o.o., Dr. Mitja Štular, Member of the Management Board of Telekom Slovenije d.d., Mr. Valentin Hajdinjak, President of the Management Board of DARS d.d. and Mr. Roman Žnidarič, Executive Director of CETIS d.d. shared their views with us.

The "Slovenian Grand Security Award" is a prestigious award in the field of security in Slovenia, which is awarded to selected institutions and individuals for their innovative contribution in the field of security development and enforcement. This year's recipients of the prestigious "Slovenian Grand Security Award" for achievements in the past year are:

• This year's award for "best corporate security manager" was received by Mr. Božidar Dajčman from the company Nova KBM d.d.
• This time the award for the safest company went to Luka Koper d.d.
• This time the award for "most innovative security solution" was given to Silver Bullet Risk d.o.o.
• The award for the "safest city" was given to the Municipality of Velenje, and in the category "the safest municipality" to the Municipality of Sevnica.
• The main news program Dnevnik Televizije Slovenija received an award in the category of "the most innovative media support".

Two prizes for "life's work" were also awarded to doc. dr. Milan Vršec and Mr. Ingo Falk Pasch Wallersberg.
