The official ceremony of the prestigious security awards "Slovenian Grand Security Award 2023" took place on 14 May 2024 at Brdo pri Kranju as part of the Corporate Security Days 2024 event, where we were joined by the guests of honour, the President of the National Council of the Republic of Slovenia, Mr. Marko LOTRIČ, and the Minister of the Interior, M.s. Boštjan POKLUKAR.

This year, awards were presented in several prestigious categories recognising outstanding achievements in safety. These include the Corporate Security Manager of the Year Award, the Most Secure Company Award, the Most Secure City and Municipality Award, the Most Innovative Security Solution Award, the Most Innovative Security Media Promotion Award, and the Best Professional Contribution in Corporate Security Award.

"The "Slovenian Grand Security Award" is a prestigious award in the field of security in Slovenia, given to selected institutions and individuals for their innovative contribution to the development and promotion of security. The award is presented by the Institute for Corporate Security Studies, ICS-Ljubljana, in cooperation with the Slovenian Corporate Security Association. In six categories, an independent jury selects the best and most innovative ones who, by their example and activities, exemplify good practices and innovative solutions in the field of safety in their centres. This quality is rewarded with the prestigious "SLOVENIAN GRAND SECURITY AWARD".

This year's recipients of the prestigious "Slovenian Grand Security Award" for their achievements in the past year are:

• Corporate Security Manager of the Year - Mr. Tomaž JERETINA, Gorenjska banka d.d.

• Most Innovative Security Solution - SNEP

• Safest City - MURSKA SOBOTA CITY

• The safest municipality - TRBOVLJE MUNICIPALITY

• Innovative media promotion of safety - 24 HOURS EVENING news programme, POP TV

• Best professional contribution in the field of safety - Preventive campaign "Beware" by the Association of Banks of Slovenia
