The official ceremony of the prestigious awards in the field of security, the "Slovenian Grand Security Award 2025", took place on May 20, 2025 in Brdo pri Kranju as part of the event "Days of Corporate Security", where we were also joined by the guest of honor, the President of the National Council of the Republic of Slovenia, Mr. Marko LOTRIČ, with an online address from Japan, and the Minister of the Interior, Mr. Boštjan POKLUKAR.

The awards were presented this year in several prestigious categories that recognize exceptional achievements in the field of security. These include the award for Corporate Security Manager of the Year, the award for the safest company, the award for the safest city and municipality, the award for the most innovative security solution, the award for innovative media promotion of security, and the award for the best professional contribution in the field of corporate security.

The "Slovenian Grand Security Award" or "Slovenian Grand Security Award" is a prestigious award in the field of security in Slovenia, which is awarded to selected institutions and individuals for their innovative contribution to the development and implementation of security. The award is presented by the Institute for Corporate Security Studies, ICS-Ljubljana, in cooperation with the Slovenian Corporate Security Association. In six categories, an independent committee selects the best and most innovative companies that, with their example and activities in the field of ensuring security in their environments, represent an example of good practices and innovative solutions. We reward this quality with the prestigious "SLOVENIAN GRAND SECURITY AWARD".

• Corporate Security Manager of the Year – Mr. Metod Vidmar, Slovenska industrija jekla, d.d.
• The most innovative security solution – Viktor Global d.o.o.
• The safest city – Velenje Municipality
• The safest municipality – Jesenice Municipality
• Innovative media promotion of security – Slovenian News Agency (STA)
• The best professional contribution in the field of security – the information campaign of the Office of the Republic of Slovenia for Information Security “Knowledge of the NIS-2 Directive”.
