ORION Project EU – First Consortium Meeting in Athens

This week, partners of the ORION project (Optimized Risk-based Intelligence-driven Operations for Next-generation Secure, Reliable and Privacy-preserving Border Management) gathered in Athens, Greece for the first consortium meeting. Over the next three years, the project will tackle key challenges related to enhancing the border checks faster and more secure for travellers.

The meeting, hosted by the project coordinator, brought together all consortium members to align on shared goals, expectations, and next steps. The Institute for Corporative Security Studies (ICS) was represented by Milan Tarman, PhD, alongside with the representatives of other Slovenian partners: Ministry of Interior & Police and University of Maribor.

In the coming months, the consortium partners will focus on strong collaboration with the goal of achieving the project objectives.
