On Tuesday, February 23, we were able to follow the resounding on-line round table of representatives of the international regional association SEESCA (South-East European Corporate Security Association). Guests on the event were prof. dr. Dragan Trivan - President of the Serbian Association of Corporate Security Managers (SAMKB), mr. Alen Delić - Vice President of the Croatian Association of Security Managers (HUMS), prof. dr. Atanas Kozarev - President of the Macedonian Association of Corporate Security Managers and dr. Denis Čaleta - President of the Slovenian Association of Corporate Security, who also moderate the event.
The main point of this meeting was dedicated to the last turbulent period brought by the health crisis related to the COVID-19 epidemic. In the first part, the discussants presented the experience of corporate security in dealing with the COVID-19 epidemic, as well as the experience and activities in the field of cyber security in each country.
In the second part, they covered the events related to the earthquakes in Zagreb and Petrinja and tried to answer the question of whether we are sufficiently prepared for natural disasters in the corporate security system. In the concluding part, they each presented their views on the future operation of the SEECSA regional association.
The last part of the meeting was devoted to the questions of the members of all four associations, who gathered in large numbers. At the end, the moderator of the meeting, dr. Denis Čaleta thanked all the participants of the event and invited them to the next joint meeting, which will take place in May as part of the international conference Days of Corporate Security 2021.
