At the invitation of the partner organization, representatives of ICS-Ljubljana and the Slovenian Corporate Security Association attended the 6th international conference entitled "Corporate Security in the Republic of Serbia 2018", which took place on October 11, 2018 at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Belgrade. The conference was organized by the Serbian Association of Corporate Security Managers (SAMKB) in cooperation with the SE Europe Corporate Security Association (SECSA).

In the first part of the event, prof. dr. Denis Čaleta, President of the ICS Ljubljana Council in a very interesting lecture, presented the European project DEFENDER, which is under the Horizon 2020 program, and cooperates with 18 partners from nine European countries.

In the following, there were some other highlights, among which we can especially highlight the round table on the new GDPR regulation and the round table on the new Critical Infrastructure Act. MSc. Miran Vršec clarified the Slovenian experience from the above mentioned field. Through the discussions that took place during the entire conference, the participants showed a very high interest in good practices and the latest solutions implemented by ICS-Ljubljana in the area of ​​critical infrastructure, cyber security and the examination of information systems and other related areas within the framework of corporate security.
