ICS-Ljubljana actively involved in international project Resilience of Critical Infrastructure Protection in Europe (RECIPE)

Institute for Corporative Security Studies, ICS Ljubljana is actively involved in completion of the International European project RECIPE according to the invitation of the leadership of the project titled Resilience of Critical Infrastructure Protection in Europe (RECIPE). ICS Ljubljana is in line with its expertise finished the Comparability of international solutions study in the field of critical infrastructure protection. It will prepare feasibility study on the end where the proposed models will be assessed for the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Serbia.

The main aim and the interest of the project is the development of the applicable and efficient models for the:

  • Establishment of public-private partnerships in the field of critical infrastructure protection
  • Establishment of mechanisms for exchange of sensitive information/data among participants in the critical infrastructure protection system
  • Establishment of preconditions for development of the national Centre for critical infrastructures.

Dr. Denis Čaleta participated as a representative of the ICS Ljubljana in two workshops in the period from 12-15. October, which were conducted in Belgrade and Zagreb. He presented solution from comparative study and best practice form Slovenia example. Workshops were organized by project partners Croatian National Protection and Rescue Directorate, University of Applied Sciences Velika Gorica (VVG), University of Belgrade, Faculty of Security Studies, Republic of Serbia (FB) and the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB). Representatives form Finland, Sweden, the Netherlands, Hungary and Italy also presented their solutions at the workshop.
