On 24 and 25 of June 2020, the online workshop of the European Cluster for Securing Critical Infrastructures (ECSCI) was held. We had the privilege and opportunity to obtain information on the main development events in the field of methodological and technical innovative solutions, which were presented by all important EU projects related to the protection of critical infrastructure. ECSCI offered many excellent presentations and discussions where participants had the opportunity to share new knowledge and best practices. The importance of this first ECSCI event was also confirmed by representatives of the European Commission and other important international organizations and professional associations.

Within the program, the DEFENDER and INFRASTRESS projects were presented, in which the Institute for Corporate Security Studies also participates. Representative of ICS Ljubljana, Dr. Denis Čaleta gave a lecture on the theme "Could standardization break the silos approach and Critical Infrastructure Protection?"
