EU CyberSEAS members meet in Helsinki

05. July 2023

The EU CyberSEAS (Cyber Securing Energy Data Services) project members' meeting was successfully concluded on 4-5 July in Helsinki. Three representatives of ICS Ljubljana, Denis Čaleta, Žiga Podgoršek and Eva Čaleta, were present at the meeting.

The CyberSEAS project is a European Union-funded project to improve the Cyber Security of the European Power Systems (EPES).

The meeting focused on the presentation of the work and results so far. Progress in the development of technologies that will be tested in the project's pilot environments was also presented.

A specific plan was made for the implementation of the technological solutions in the second half of the project, which will mainly focus on successful testing in the pilot environments of the 6 pilots in the project. Pilots have been formed in Italy, Slovenia, Estonia, Romania, Finland and Croatia.

The meeting also analysed the reactions of the Commission representatives to the recently completed debriefing of the project partners at the end of the project's first half.

Special emphasis was also given to the strengthening of the CyberSEAS Stakeholder Community, to which all interested representatives of organisations working in EPES or critical infrastructure are invited.

In addition to ICS Ljubljana, other Slovenian representatives present at the project were ELES, OPERATO, PETROL, SI-CERT and INFORMATIKA.

The next meeting of the consortium is scheduled for the end of September in Sardinia (Italy), where the consortium representatives will have a closer look at the EPES infrastructure of the pilot partners in Italy.
