On Thursday, April 30, 2020, a high-profile on-line conference entitled "Integrared Approach in the Management and Operation of Electricity Transmission and Distribution Networks" was held. The conference was supported by major European projects under Horizon 2020, namely DEFENDER, SOGNO, WISEGRID, PHOENIX, CROSSBOW and EDDIE.

Dr. Denis Čaleta from ICS-Ljubljana presented the experience of the DEFENDER project in the field of standardization in a presentation entitled “Standardization challenges in Energy Critical Infrastructure - DEFENDER experience”. He later participated in a panel discussion on the central theme of "The Role of Regulation and Standardization and the Potential Impact in the Power Sector".
