Days of Security and Protection 2016

Croatian Network of Urban Security Stakeholders and trade journal Zaštita are organizing second edition of Days of Security and Protection on the main Zagreb square Trg bana Josipa Jelačića, September 23 – 25. The manifestation will be held under high patronage of the President of the Republic of Croatia Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović and mayor of Zagreb Milan Bandić.

Further to a successful first edition of Days of Security and Protection organized in 2015, the purpose of this year’s three-day manifestation is introducing to the general public private and public companies, services and equipment aimed at increasing both public and private security.

Within Days of Security and Protection, a Conference on Critical Infrastructure will take place Friday, September 23, in Hotel Dubrovnik, gathering numerous security experts from Croatia and the SEE region. The conference will feature Allesandro Lazari (European Commission), Maja Čavlović (Office of the President of the Republic of Croatia), Denis Čaleta (Institute for Cooperative Security Studies, Ljubljana), Robert Mikac (Faculty of Political Science), Maja Matijaš and Ivana Cesarec (National Protection and Rescue Directorate), Jurica Čular (Information Systems Security Bureau). Beside representatives of the abovementioned institutions, the conference will gather main critical infrastructure stakeholders in Croatia and SEE region.

The Days of Security and Protection consist of:

17 September Sports competition for security professionals
23 – 25 September Exhibition and presentation of security services and equipment, exercises, Ban Josip Jelačić Square
23 September Conference on Critical Infrastracture, Hotel Dubrovnik (Gajeva street 1, Zagreb)
