The National Cyber Security Response Center SI-CERT has issued a Report on Cyber Security for 2020. Each time the report provides concrete figures, a cross-section of developments in the field of cyber security in Slovenia and analyzes of outstanding security incidents. And what marked Slovenian cyberspace last year?

2775 incidents were reported, among which a marked increase in phishing attacks was detected, as well as disabling attacks, extortion viruses and inciting malicious code. The fraudsters took advantage of the COVID-19 epidemic, which moved our lives online almost overnight. The year 2020 was thus marked by the rapid digitalisation of society, which also brings new challenges in the field of cyber security.
