The Association of Security Managers of Montenegro is under the auspices of the President of Montenegro, Mr. Jakov Mijatović organized the first international conference, which took place on 20-21. April 2024 in Budva. The respected President of Montenegro also addressed the participants of the aforementioned conference.

Representatives of the Slovenian Association for Corporate Security were also present at the conference. The president of the association Dr. Denis Čaleta presented important steps in the mentioned field, which are being implemented in the Republic of Slovenia, at the conference in the framework of the round table entitled "Protection of critical infrastructure in Montenegro and the region". He also attached special importance to the good practices brought by EU projects in the field of critical infrastructure and other related security challenges. He particularly pointed out the currently implemented projects where Slovenian organizations play an extremely important role. These projects are ATLANTIS, SUNRISE, CyberSEAS and ARIEN. He placed special emphasis on the importance that the EU Commission places on the results of the mentioned projects, which results in the recently adopted EU directives CER and NIS 2. He used the opportunity to invite Montenegrin corporate security experts to strengthen further cooperation and, of course, their participation in the jubilee Corporate Security Days. of security 2024, which will be held at Brdo pri Kranje. The Slovenian delegation took advantage of the opportunity for several bilateral talks with the most prominent strategic leaders in Montenegro.
