A new project ENDURANCE has started

In October, a new three-year research project ENURANCE started, which is financially supported by the EU within the Horizon Europe program and in which the Institute for Corporate Security Studies participates.

On Tuesday, October 15, 2024, the opening meeting of the new three-year ENURANCE research project took place in Timisoara, Romania. From October 2024 to September 2027, 22 partner organizations from seven European countries will work together to develop a range of new technologies and solutions that will improve strategies and services for improved resilience to disruption and cooperation in Europe.

The ENDURANCE project is coordinated by the Romanian branch of the global company Eviden, which is a leading next-generation technology company specializing in digital transformation. The consortium will receive EUR 5 million in funds from the EU research and innovation program Horizon Europe. Quite a few Slovenian partners participate in it. In addition to the Institute for Corporate Security Studies, Telekom Slovenije, ELES, AKOS, the Information Security Office of the Republic of Slovenia and Silver Bullet Risk also participate.

Two representatives of the Institute for Corporate Security Studies participated in the meeting. Aljoša Kandžič briefly presented the functioning of the institute and its role in the project. Prof. dr. Denis Čaleta gave a detailed presentation of the tasks led by the institute and which touch on the following areas: strategic collaboration and cooperation, management of the Slovenian pilot and measurement of the project's impact.
