From June 13 to 14, 2024, the 2nd General Assembly of the ARIEN project was held in the Greek city of Thessaloniki, organized by the Center for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH). The ARIEN project focuses on the use of artificial intelligence to effectively combat the production and trafficking of illicit drugs.

The event was attended by a representative of ICS Ljubljana, MSc. Marko Mihalic.

We were joined by Slovenian partners who are part of the consortium, namely the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Slovenia, the Post Office of Slovenia and the University of Maribor.

The assembly was a great opportunity for all partners to exchange ideas for optimizing activities, share progress and collaborate on future strategies. We especially thank the organizers for their exceptional coordination and exceptional hospitality, and we are already looking forward to the next meeting.
