National conference "Introduction of the EU directive NIS 2 supported by good practices of EU projects"

The EU is in the phase of significant regulatory changes that have a strong impact on the implementation of a whole set of processes in the member states.

Content of the conference

The EU is in the phase of significant regulatory changes that have a strong impact on the implementation of a whole set of processes in the member states. One of the important areas is definitely ensuring the continuity of operations of critical entities from the point of view of cyber security. The mentioned content will be the direct red thread of the event, where the focus will be on discussions on how to implement the EU directives "NIS 2" and "Resilience Act" as actively as possible, not only in national legislation, but above all in effective implementation in the operational environment.

In addition to the above, Slovenian organizations are actively present in key EU research projects in the field of cyber security and protection of critical infrastructure. We are all aware that these projects are one of the important centers of gravity of the EU, from which it draws important information for arranging future regulatory steps. One such highly anticipated step is also related to the introduction and use of artificial intelligence, which is strongly related to the topic discussed at the aforementioned consultation. At the event, we will specifically talk about how this effective participation of Slovenian organizations in EU projects can be more strongly transferred to the national experiential environment by transferring good practices and new experiences.
