Conference aims

International scientific conference entitled “Days of corporative security” with specific theme “Dilemmas and challenges of evaluation in area of Corporative Security” is a thematic scientific and professional meeting of all those dealing with the problems of security risk management in the modern security environment. The conference is the central corporative security scientific and professional event in the region.

The aim of the conference is to present the latest findings and research results, examples of good practice as well as those of successful transfer of knowledge into practice. The conference also aims at providing a direct link between theory and practice as well as pointing to and resolving the current corporative security problems.

In the modern society of risks and threats, security needs an increasing amount of attention and a systemic approach. An appropriate systemic approach to providing security in corporations and other organisations from public and private environments brings about benefits which are reflected in the area of competition, survivability and development in very demanding financial circumstances. It also provides appropriate functioning of an organisation in a constantly changing security environment, burdened with a great variety of security risks and threats. In addition to the aforementioned facts, the aim of the meeting is to open a discussion on problematic topical issues and practice, giving emphasis to the presentation of scientific and professional findings and the process of their implementation into practice.

The globalisation process brings changes to business models of organisations in both, public and private sectors, and related management, as well as to the systems of education, training and advanced training. This is the only way to promote a changed strategic and cohesive thinking which comprehends and incorporates social responsibility in the area of security risk management with a paradigm of sustainable development. Due to the aforementioned facts, the aim of the conference is to remind the scientific and professional corporative security public of the significance of social and individual responsibility in the processes of security risk management thereby providing prerequisites for sustainable development of organisations in both, public and private environments, and last but not least the modern society as a whole.
